    Well it's kinda like AOL as most popular ISP, or Blogspot for blogging. It's free and more visible, I knew about Flickr long before I found out about SM.

    Sadly this sort of thing isnt about which is the best online storage. Its about whom has the most users & perchance they will vote favorably towards the only system they know ... hence the current leader.
