So I drive 50 miles this morning into the Sonoran Desert to see the wildlife at the AZ Sonoran Desert Museum. I get to the mountain lion exhibit at the opening when the animals are alert and active. I take out my camera and lenses, I get ready to shoot, and there is no memory card in the camera :bad Left it in the computer. Have you ever done that? I did get a rain check however, and will be going back tomorrow morning.

In the mean time:

Not sharp but interesting. Just got my attention:

The Sonoran Desert is in full bloom:

Thanks for looking,

Dan

Nice shots. I hope you get the lion soon.

But no, never done that. Always have spare batteries and cards with me.

Good set and I've left my memory card home too. I've also gone out w/o my tripod and batteries. Fortunately these senior moments happened while I was shooting at the wetlands which are a short 15 minute drive from my house.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks Harry. Wish I had wetlands near me. It's very hot and dry. 108 today, but it's a dry heat. rolleyes1.gif
