I'm loving the video option. Any talk of being able to customize the logo on teh video?

    Either by using our personal watermark or say allowing hte option of the smugmug logo to be hidden. Not that I don't love the smugmug logo...but you know...

    That would be wonderful and will give me a reason never to leave SmugMug.

    You are right, he is gone but LaFlacaD and I are hoping to add our own logo.

    Gone from in-gallery viewing, there on embedded views (blogs, forums). But even for there, he'll be changing, he just hasn't gotten a new suit of clothes yet.

    <object width=425 height=239><param name="movie" value="http://cdn.smugmug.com/ria/ShizVidz-2008051501.swf&quot; /><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always" /><param name="flashVars" value="s=aT0yMTkyNTY1NDgmaz1Ua0hnUiZhPTM3OTkyNzJfVnJYak4mdT1jbWFjJmU9MQ==" /><embed src="http://cdn.smugmug.com/ria/ShizVidz-2008051501.swf&quot; flashVars="s=aT0yMTkyNTY1NDgmaz1Ua0hnUiZhPTM3OTkyNzJfVnJYak4mdT1jbWFjJmU9MQ==" width=425 height=239 type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always"></embed></object>

    Something similar to what Viddler has done might be a good solution. You can check out my logo on this video (it stays there for embeds too) with "Powered by Viddler" below my logo.

    <object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" width="437" height="288" id="viddler"><param name="movie" value="http://www.viddler.com/player/d25cd8be/&quot; /><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always" /><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><embed src="http://www.viddler.com/player/d25cd8be/&quot; width="437" height="288" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowScriptAccess="always" allowFullScreen="true" name="viddler" ></embed></object>

    My two cents--I have a pro account and use SmugMug to publish photos on my web site www.montarafog.com.

    I'm testing the video out now--but the icon will be a deal killer, video-wise. I don't normally advertise the tools and services I use to my customers--I have a hard enough time building my own brand!

    I would say no icon--or better, a customizabel icon (top and/or bottom right, please) for pro accounts.

    And there's no icon when vids are viewed on your site, just as a reminder to all.

    We're still working on the external vids and the icon.
