    Hey Zoomer,

Lovely pics, but I just have to ask...what's with the tree color? Early autumn in Idaho? lol3.gif

    Seriously, very well done. thumb.gif

    Cheers,

Good grief these are awesome. I am sure they will be very pleased.

Couple details you might want to fix before final upload.

    # 3 there is some green in the top of her hair

#7 there is a pretty rough line where it goes from grass detail to blur. See if you can blend this a little bit. Little spot above his elbow stands out too.
This one could use a little more contrast to give it some pop- as right now it is pretty flat.

Very cool stuff though thumb.gif - fun group and a great location. Lucky photog :D

These are fantastic. I have 1 question and 1 crit...

First my question is how did you light photos 1 and 3 and my only minor nit pik is the flash shadows in #4.

Over all, epic set of wedding photos, you should be proud. clap.gif

Thanks....yes I sped nature up a bitmwink.gif . I like the black carriage against the fall colors. It was just TOO much green naturally.

    Hi Swartzy,
    Thanks for commenting.
Yes I love the different looks that can be had by utilizing a few filters....and what a time saver when there are 1200 photos to work through!

    Thanks anwm1,
Good eye!!!....sometimes I get in a hurry doing so many photos and miss some details. I did not notice the green on her head...there was some in the veil that I did notice and fixed already.
The bride did not notice any problems but I will fix them before she sees the prints. The black and white actually has a darker background in the brides version so you can't see the blur line.

    Hi DIjoe,
1 and 3 were lit with sun from the left and on camera fill flash high on a bracket and diffused.
I used a filter to darken the edges on 1 and highlight the center...the sun was behind a cloud on 1.

On 3 I selected the bride and darkened and colored and decontrasted the background...it started out as bright green grass...then reversed selection and did a contrast reduction on the bride to get rid of that harsh afternoon sun and then a levels adjustment on the bride to make her pop and then selected the dress to bring back the detail in shadows highlights.
Taken in full sun mid afternoon.
