LR title bar stuck under menu bar??

When I open LR on my Mac, the window is sized so that the title bar (the one with three dots on upper left corner) is placed behind the menu bar (the bar that says "Lightroom, file, edit, library,etc)
The result is that I can no longer drag my LR window over to my external monitor.
I can't resize the window to fit by dragging the lower right corner, nor can I resize it by using the maximize button (it's one of the three that's trapped behind the menu bar)
It was not always like this, must have got fouled up at some point.
Any advice???

Go into your system preferences and change the Display resolution such you can now drag that window where you want it, then reset.

that didn't work, but someone else suggested just hitting the F key.
It worked.
