First post here. Sorry this is old(a few months) I just found this forum during the "smug mug lost day".

A buddy and me flew from Maine to California to drive a Jeep back to Maine on a limited time table of 4 days. I shot what I could on on a pretty tight schedule.

We picked the Patriot up in Truckee CA at 3 AM during a snow storm and headed south toward Yosemite

Right after those shots around midnight we abandoned a few planned spots and headed strait home. Heres the last wildlife photo from the trip, shot in Pennsylvania

Oklahoma to Maine in less than 24 hrs means your tired and want to be home:D It was a good 4200 miles, Ive always wanted to cross the country, and now I want to do it again even more. Hope you liked some them....

Looks like you covered a lot of ground in 4 days :D

49 is one of the nice roads for those of us who ride motorcycles. We call it "the mini dragon".

Thanks! It was a last minute trip they were going to ship it but I decided it would be a fun drive, and the cost was the same.

When you are here next, you must stop and see the Coastal Redwoods. Truly spectacular. As are the Redwoods in Yosemite or Sequoia & Kings Canyon.

A Ponderosa Pine is not a Giant Sequoia.
