Fear and Loathing Las Vegas; Ted's journey hits Vegas

While Hunter S Thompson wrote Fear and Loathing IN Las Vegas, I dreaded going to Las Vegas. My brother had a three day seminar here, he had to bring work along... :scratch So Ann, Vincent and I pretty much hung out at the pool at the casino hotels while Eric had to do his seminars. At night, when he came back we would hit the strip and check out the other casinos.
The thing that I loved about Las Vegas was the VEGAN DONUTS!! I haven't had a donut since 4th grade! So actually having vegan donuts was.... :barb :eat. We bought about 2 dozen. And finished them within the hour or two. Luckily for me, this time, I took a photo of them, albeit halfway done and most of the ones left were half eaten. Sampling, they call it. Yeah right! They wanted to claim ownership over the donuts!!
But other than that, I hated going inside the casinos. Depressed looking people, cigerrette smoke, monotonous sounds, super expensive internet, NO vegetarian food, and can't take photos inside!
We stayed at 4 Queens and then The Orleans while we were out there.
There was this hotrod exhibit when we got to the 4 Queens and we saw a character from "Cars" there that Vincent loved!
We spotted WIllie Nelson.
We went back into the hotel room to hang out for a little while.
Tried to connect online. At first we were like, let's hold off on the internet for now. But at the end of the day I paid for the connection. :rofl:cry
I love that Limerick Revolution t shirt I have on. It is one of my fondest memorabilia from Limerick. I am soo going back to Ireland!
That suitcase rack was Vincent's truck. He scolded me for moving it off the bed. :deal
I love the mirror effect in this elevator. Eric, Vincent, and I headed back to the car to get the rest of our gear from the car. Mainly my duffel bag. :wink

Gotta give the man some credit. At least he tried. :rofl

They played Queen's We Will Rock you song on this hugely lit LED canopy. Vincent continued to sing that song till we left California.
That smoke mask was on his face for the most of the time we were in Vegas.
We left 4 Queens for The Orleans the next day. Eric and I left first, because he had to start the seminar early in the morning. So we first stopped to get the donuts!!
Don't worry, within a half an hour all of them were finished!
After I dropped Eric off, I went back to get Ann and Vincent to bring them over to the new hotel.
