Been having an upload problem....

This has happened 3 times now over the past couple of weeks.

I've uploaded pictures using the simple uploader. The little upload screen pops up showing my pics being uplaoded. After all of the pics are done the little screen that says 'upload complete' comes up.

I click on 'upload complete' (way after the upload is done) and there's nothing in my gallery. I look at my upload log and it shows nothing. As a matter of fact my upload log doesn't show any of the photos I've uploaded today, this week or month.

My website is www.juliesaltvick.com The gallery I uploaded the phantom pics to is http://juliesaltvick.smugmug.com/gallery/5334176_SEijX#326087213_sn78G

I'm redoing my upload and it's now working. When I upload and the pics disappear the 2nd time it works. :dunno

Thanks Andy. About a week b4 this shot I got tackled on the sidelines and broke my leg. I couldn't walk for almost 2 months. So this was me getting creative for this shoot. I was laying flat on my back and had the boys crowd around. lol

Are my gallery pw's screwing me up? I always just type any ole' thing while I'm uploading to a public gallery.

    Just wanted to update this....

The phantom pictures from today showed up many hours after the upload. About 8-9 hours later I think.....

I'm having the same problem with simple uploading. Over the past 3 days, I've tried uploading several times, and the pix never actually show up in my gallery. Twice, the uploading never ended, even after several hours. The other time, it appeared to be finished, but again when I went to the gallery, it said the gallery was empty. In my case, it was still empty the next day.

Due to occasional problems like this, I've always wished we had a progress meter on the simple upload. But this time the problem has been much more persistent. The reason I don't use drag and drop anymore is that the pix end up all jumbled in the gallery instead of remaining in the order I dragged them. I don't know if I did something wrong.

We're looking at it now, more as we know it.

    Sorry!

I'm using the very latest Firefox... I don't know which version; just know we just updated. I was able to instead use the "simple upload" instead of olde faithful last night. That one worked fine, and it does not jumble the order of the pix like the old drag & drop used to. So for now I'll stick to that. The only problem I'm having is unrelated to uploading-- when I correct colors or crop a photo, I'm not able to get back to my gallery immediately to do other stuff, without a few extra clicks around to get back.
