How to disable shopping cart?

HI, I'm a newbie. I have 4 different galleries on my site and there is no options to buy prints on three of them which is what I want. The other gallery has it were you can purchase the pictures. I DO NOT want that! I have looked over things and cannot figure out how to disable it. Can anyone help me out here? I have a power acct..
