There is a gentleman named Aleksandras in another forum that simply does stunning work . I have been taking his work into consideration while composing my shots ...

    I definitely agree -- they clearly worked a very intense full day for both of those!

    What impressed me upon looking at both galleries was how the photog made me feel like I was so comfortably "there". In those two galleries there are very few photos where the subject is making eye contact with the photog -- they all just look captured in the middle of a touching moment, a playful moment, or a hundred other significant moments, but none of them appearing posed. Yet, you know that to get those results the photog had to be very proactive!!

    That was a lovely gallery. The photographer's email is Italy but the shots actually looked like they were taken in Stockholm...

    Yes, a similar flavor to San Diego.Uncannily!

    VERY cool ... boy, that light-work ... I don't know .... that's just really impressive (and it was obviously a dark day with some rain ... )

    Boy, but that's a LOT of walking, hope the bride wasn't wearing high heels rolleyes1.gif

    I think he's actually Czech ... (his name on the top of the page & the work at the very end) .... + there is a polish bus in one of the photos, so def. east european .... mwink.gif

    He reported that photos were from Moscow . It is a very beautiful place .

    Here is a link to more of his work , and I invited him over to this forum , and hope he joins as I have learned a few things just from viewing his photos ..

    I feel like I just walked 2 miles looking thru them.

    Stunning, indeed. Seems like I've seen his work before. He is very good at post processing. Just for the sake of curiosity, I wonder what camera and lenses he's using? Do you know?

    I know in the older shoots , he used a D200 with 85/1.4 and other lenses , and I believe he stated he moved to the D3 .
    I am almost certain he uses the 85/1.4 the most ... I could be wrong , but if my memmory is right that is ...

    That's what I was thinking...he's either posted here or on Nikonians...I'm a Nikon shooter and maybe that's where I've seen him.

    He has such a beautiful city to shoot in.
