SOLD: Classic Nikon 400mm f/3.5 MF lens in near mint condition, $1450

Sharp, contrasty, and works very well on the D3. Cosmetics are minty but, to be conservative, lets say mint-. No marks on the glass (and that's alot of glass!). Diaphragm is snappy, internal focusing is silky smooth. Lens has had a 122mm Nikon L37c filter over the front element for the entire time I've owned it. The filter will be included with the lens. Also included are the original leather front cap, Nikon rear cap, a Kirk Arca plate, and a Nikon leather lens case. The lens case came from a different 400/3.5 and is fairly ratty looking on the outside. Asking a firm $1450 plus exact FedEx shipping/Insurance.
