Dirty Dancing Fans? - Mountain Lake VA
This was not much of a journey as I live 17 miles away. But it is sad that the lake is going through one of its cycles. This is a view from the Gazebo. The Gazebo was used for 3 scenes in the movie. The night dance, the dance class, and when Baby approached her dad sitting in the rocker.
The stack of wood on the right is the spot where Johnny and Baby practiced the lifts in the water. The depth and the distance are a bit deceiving in this photo. I have a few more photos from around the lake on my site: http://docwalkersphotography.com/gallery/5931978_XWrqz/1/369458423_248Ei
I really want to go back up soon and get some more photos from the lake bed. I just ran out of time on Sunday.
