Lovely light and photo too! I was actually thinking about Pixie dust for an upcoming shoot and wondered how well it would work. The particulates she is spreading look larger than what I had thought about. I was worried they might just all blow-out, specularly.
Oh, very nice! Great exposure, color and detail. Makes me want to know from where is she hanging and how high up is she? The background is interesting as well.

She's an acrobat doing a publicity show for White Night, an annual European Community wide celebration of the arts. Museums are open all night, and there are many, many free cultural events. This was shot in front of Madrid's Royal Palace, which is just across a wonderful plaza from the Opera House. I'm afraid I have deleted all the wide shots that give a sense of scale, but she is about 25 feet above ground, supported only by the fabric. The pixie dust is actually little Styrofoam balls, about a centimeter in diameter. They floated nicely in the breeze yet were large enough to show up in the pics.
Nice capture and skin tones. The background has just enough bokeh to give good separation, and yet be interesting.

Thanks again, Tom, Julie, RBrogan and Ed. Glad you liked them. I dug out one more which I had rejected earlier because I didn't like the pattern of the dust as well. Still the facial angle is good and the whole body is intact.
Richard- this is just stunning. I love these shots. (especially #1- #3 is close behind.) Curious as to your setup on these. (lens and settings, I suppose)
Heather: All three were shot hand-held using a 20D in Av mode and a 70-200 f/4L. The first was ISO 200, f/8 1/1000; #2 was ISO 100 f/5.6 1/1250; #3 was ISO 100 f/5.6 1/2000. I used partial metering and +1/3 EV on all three. Did some minor crop, curves and sharpening in post.
Wow Richard...now what a place to be.....a glorious angel blowing dust swinging from the sky and captured so beautifully.....makes me want to come to Spain . Great captures!
