    I actually had one of these in my hands for a brief moment in time, in the factory back in 1978. The black looks better with the gold, than this did.

    Back in the days of yore....yashica did approx the same thing...with their 120/220 format twin lens camera.....brought outthe new model still black with a gold stripe around the front of the lens box and added the light meter to the upper left hand side and called it the 124"G".....previous model was, I think, the 124 mat.....both fine cams but the price difference was not worth it, as I was already carrying a light meter so I didn't need the built in meter......it was a smooth working camera for wedding tho..................
