I would like to create a button on my gallery.htm page and my services page that when clicked will link to my Smugmug galleries. I am having a hard time linking up and I am not sure what the code should be or look like. Basically I am a photographer first and Not a computer wizard! I would appreciate any help!

Thanks,
Mike Edgeton

    Hi Mike,

    Welcome to SmugMug and DGrin!

To put a clickable link on your website to your SmugMug homepage, use the following format:

    <a href="http://nickname.smugmug.com">Link Text</a>

Put in your SmugMug nickname instead of the word 'nickname'. If you have a custom domain with us, instead put in your custom domain URL.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if we can help further.

I put in the text on my web site and it will link but it goes to my (the owners home page) not the visitors page?
How do I need to change the link to only show the visitors page then when they close I would like it to go back to my web site?

    Thanks,
    Mike

    Hi again,

The link is the same for owner and visitor. The difference will lie in whether or not you are logged in. If you are logged in, our system knows to give you your owner page because of a browser cookie. If you logout however, and then re-visit the page, you will see just what the visitors see.

    I hope this helps!
