Am I missing something?

Is there any way to add an e-mail list in smugmug... Like an e-mail list that someone could join and get updates from me when I update my site... kinda like constant contact???? :scratch:scratch:scratch

Free PHP versions would be good...

There are a couple ways that can be done. I had tried several and ended up letting go of each as either no one signed up (folks hate spam), or they just did not work.

Some that do work:

FeedBurner allows you to create a form were visitors can subscribe to your most recent photos RSS feed. http://www.feedburner.com

WooFoo is something that I have not tried but it allows you to add a form so that you can collect the email address information. You end up maintaining the list and sending notices, but it works.

Simple HTML forms also work but do require your direct involvement. Not something I have time for.
