    The Cubans can't get new Western equipment
    so they buy Russian. They bought 4 TU-204's like this, 2 passenger, and 2 freighters (no windows).
    They operate worldwide bar the us.

    The last operational TU-144
    Difficult conditions for a picture, but a very rare aircraft.
    This was the TU-144 leased to Boeing for test purposes.
    It has flown with in the last 2 years.
    All the others were either scrapped ot withdrawn from use.

    This was, of course, in 2007, not 1997!!!!!
    AS we get older, things start to go.......
