Aaron, I agree these are very classy, elegant shots. I love 5,6,7. Dead horse point is glorious! Well done. Tis a shame I couldn't have stayed along to shoot with you. Great job and look forward to seeing more.thumb.gif

Thanks so much for capturing the great spirit of the Southwest. I absolutely love the shot of DHP: wonderful color and light. I wasn't able to do it justice and just sat there staring at the view.

I think my favorite shot of the set is the night shot of the lodge. All those times you come around that last bend on the road and finally see the warm lights down at the bottom of those cliffs and I never thought to photograph it once. thumb.gif

    Aaron -
Great shots. Almost like being there :D

The Star at Canyonlands turned out great, and I'm just glad you didn't get hit by those crazy dgrinners as they came around the corner by the lodge.

I still think the Pathfinder IR image could be fantastic on metallic paper. Maybe he ought to order one and boost your sales deal.gif

Schmoo- thanks for the great compliment bowdown.gif We had scoped out the canyon earlier in the day for some possible shots. We were driving back to the canyon that night and were ready to be done until we saw the sky. I think all four of us yelled, "Whoa, whoa, stop the car!!" 210 seconds can get you a decent shot. mwink.gif

    :D

That was a shorts day. Moab was significantly warmer than Northern AZ and Southern Utah. Most mornings we dealt with 35-39 degrees- once we got to Moab it was 49 or warmer and then got up to the 70's. Almost balmy!! rolleyes1.gif
