Wanted something other than the "same" old boring photos. Here are a couple of shots from the session. It ended up being a lot of fun. 406828889_QkNvy-XL.jpg

A couple of great shots here...like #2 especially the look on her face...what did you use for smoke?

Just one of those cheap fog machines you get for Halloween.

Like the second one the best. The first I think needs a little more smoke/fog.clap.gif

I like the pose of the second one. Her body is slightly angled. Great idea with the smoke.

    Very cool photos! Bravo!

These two examples absolutely proof why shooting someone squared to the camera almost universally drops the image a notch or two.

#2 She is at a slight angle with the weight on her back foot and this small little thing is why it stands out above #1 even though #1 is an excellent photo as well.

    For lighting?

Key - Umbrella - camera right above the eye line.
Rim - Camera left, behind subject and low? Mabye? Could you give detail on the rim light...if artificial was it diffused, bare bulb, gridded, etc. ?

    Thanks,

    David

    Correct on both

The Key was a 36 inch soft box

The rim was a shoot through umbrella. I did a few test shots bare bulb, and just did not like the "look"
