Monopods for tall people

I'm 6'3" and looking for a monopod that I can use without having to stoop over. I have been shooting my wife's soccer team and by the time the game is over my back is killing me. Are there any good monopods that extend to at least 5'9" or are there any extensions out there that I could use on my current monopod. Thanks

    I've get the same problem at 6"5'. i think there are actually stands out can get that boost the monpod up a few more inches.

    Hey Sparkz check out the Gitzo GM3551, it's as tall as you but it's a bit pricey though.

    Just thought I would throw the cheap fix out there....I am 6"5 and I bought Mine at walmart for 19 bucks it is 67" and it works just fine for me when standing at football games....No stooping required....

    It might be this one...... but mine is infact a OSN brand....

    Manfrotto 681B
    The 681B is about 64 inches tall. However before you say that this is too short, remember the following:

    Monopd height: 64"
    + about 3" for swivel head = 67"
    + approximately 2" from base of camera to viewfinder height = 69"

    The camera viewfinder is approximately 69" high when mounted on the 681B with swivel head.

    A 6'2" photographers eye level is approximately 5" from top of head to eye level. The eye level is then approximately 69" high.

    A person 6'2" or so, should not need to bend over to use the viewfinder of a camera mounted on a Manfrotto 618B with swivel head.

    I am 6'1" and do not have the 681 (mine is the aluminum colored model; the same specs as the 681B) extended all the way.

    By the way, the aluminum Manfrotto 681 is a quarter pound lighter in weight than the CF Gitzo 1564L and costs about half as much. The only drawback is that the 681 is a three section pod and doesn't colapse as short as the heavier Gitzo 1564L.

    I'm 6'3", and I use a Manfrotto 679B, but I don't let it rest on the ground :D

    This is an excellent monopod, I had it for about two years. Eventually I
    traded it against a Velbon carbon fiber monopod to reduce the weight.
    (I didn't need the height of the Gitzo)
