The rebate form says the Visa rebate cards have an expiration date on the front, after which if you didn't use it, you lose it. Can someone who has received theirs tell us what expiration date your card has, please?

i did the deal that was going around at the end of september, just got my rebate card in the mail last night. expiration on the card is 03/09 for me.

Newegg currently has Transcend $GB and 8GB SDHC cards on sale. I picked up 2 4GB and 1 8GB for $30. These work great in smaller cameras, or can be used with a CF adapter in an SLR. The speed isn't great, but if all you are doing is Landscape shooting or non burst shooting should be fast enough.

    8GB - $16.49

The kingston elite pro has some pretty bad reviews relating to actual speed of these cards and corruption rate of the memory. look at the 4,8,16gb reviews,

Do you have one? good luck / bad luck???

Any current CF deals out there? I don't need anything killer large/fast, I'm looking for maybe 12-16gb TOTAL in new cards, Lexar 233x or Sandisk Extreme IV speed-wise; could go with 3 - 4gb cards or 2 - 8gb cards...

I just bought a couple from B&H under Sandisk's stock up sale. The more you buy, the bigger the rebate. I bought two 32GBs, so I can't help you out with the sizes you need, but check out their website.

Adorama is doing the Sandisk sale and I got 3 Extreme III 4gb SD cards and 3 Extreme III 4 gb CF cards for $205 with $120 in rebates making each 4 gb card just over 14 bucks. The CF cards are the 30mb/s cards and the SD are just the 20mb/s but I think that's a good deal if you're cool with rebates.
