    very cool...the perspective (blurring in background and sharp focus of specific building) in some of the building shots almost makes them look like 'miniatures'clap.gif I like it.

    Once again, Nice Shooting Jeff...Whats your strategy for getting so high up. I live in Atlanta and ive never tried, i just figured if i had no business in one of those high rises, i wouldnt be allowed...

    Well, there's a big Tower of the Americas in San Antonio. I just went up and shot from there!

    Yes, I used Capture NX to do a gradient blur in order to achieve the faux tilt-shift effect. It's not hard to do, but it does take some trial and error in order not to "overdo" the blurring. You also need to work on the saturation and contrast to make it look right. I think I'm getting better at it. Tomorrow I'll post some more "miniatures" on the "Cool Shot's" forum.

    Neat!
    I live in San Antonio, so I recognized the sight lines as from the TofA, but the 'miniature' effect had me looking very close at those!
