Migraine - light flashing - aarrgghh - green vase I followed the instructions (thanks to who wrote them) and after 90 mins of my strobist studio flashing continusly came up with this shot. Re: Looking for some feed back- Car Pics
Nope, not the olds. It was the trans am, that I saw in your album, but thought you posted here. (The firebird on the hood makes me always call them "Firebirds".) My grandfather has an '89 GTA with less than 30K original miles. I'm slowly trying to convince him to let me buy it, he still likes to drive it as a "toy" though.… -
Re: My image uploads are failing, is it just me?
same exact thing is happening to me this morning, its really frustrating too, I have been at this uploading for hours I keep reuploading failed images and it keeps happening. Out of 89 images at least half of them have filed to upload, I then take the half that failed reupload and then again half fail...then I start the… -

Re: Gymnastics: Canon vs. Nikon; your choice?
Yeah, right now......being Level 5.....the bar routine is all of about 30 seconds. In that time, there's maybe 4 or 5 potential shots at the most. I'm really struggling with the bars! I hit B&H Photo for the 16GB IV cards at $204 w/ free shipping and a $60 rebate.....and a day later, a dgrinner turned me on to the fact… -
Re: Planning 1st trip to Zion National Park - What should I know?
I just got back 2.5 weeks ago from Zion. Stayed at the lodge and it was nice and comfortable. Rates are up now as the season began April 1st, almost double the $89 rate. Angel's Landing is a must, hike up there in the morning first thing to avoid the crowds. Even in late March it was getting a little crowded and that trail… -

Re: CF Card for Video Use in 5DMKii
It may, the only way to really tell is start recording and see what happens. If it craps out in 20 seconds you know they won't work. Cheap alternative cards that do work for video, 16 & 32GB Kingston Green 133x cards. I don't know if you can get them anymore, but last time I bought them they were $89 for 32GB. New ones are…
