Re: SmugManager - A firefox Add-on
Patch for login problems Yes indeedy! Thanks for jumping in devbobo! That did the trick for SmugBrowser, and I also found where to patch SmugManager. For those who dare (at your own risk!): the login function is found inside your plugin in chrome/content/js/smugmanager-api.js. Close (or kill) Firefox first, and make a… -
Re: 24-70L Redux
Yup, DeVerm the 17-55is is a terrific lens, a newer design than the 24-70 and intended for crop. But it doesn't deliver at 56-70mm....which is the gap I've been trying to fill :D KEH rock. Just got off the phone with them, I can send it back no problem (despite my goof on the dates), they'll take a look at it and see… -

Re: Softbox ideas
I have an older Paul Buff Octabox that I bought from a friend along with his B800. It has to be assembled to use with its 8 spindly little rods, but isn't too bad and I use it on location as well. I used that for those bikini pics of Melissa I posted in People, Foques. For fill on that shoot I used a Speedlight with a 56"… -

What am I doing wrong? THIS TIME :)
Hey everyone, So I was playing around with codes and I had my background color prefect for the longest time then I went and entered a code into the CSS box I had my body code in and for some reason my entire site went to a blueish gray. This is the second time I've had this problem so I have two questions. 1)Where would I… -

Re: Supermoto practice in Phoenix
OK, I have a great comparison. Both these shots are coincidentally on the same page of this particular Smugmug gallery. First, a shot of the same rider I took ten months ago. This is with my 30D with the 28-135IS lens. Pic # is 49 Next, the same body with the 400mm L lens. Pic # is 56 If you go to this page on my Smugmug… -
Re: Canon lens choice dilemma
Ok, so to make the playing field level, the effective focal ranges are: Listed Actual 10-22 = 16-35 16-35 = 25-56 17-55 = 27-88 17-85 = 27-136 Correct? Given the angle of view numbers I'd posted earlier, this would seem to indicate that the main difference between the 10-22 and the 16-35 is 9 mm of focal distance at the…
