Re: Upcoming change that will affect stats
Baldy, I am one of the hundreds and not one of the millions and am also in the minority since I loved my undergrad and graduate statistic classes. Re: Need some quick lens advise before I make a Mistake!!
Yes, a constant aperture zoom of 17-50mm, f2.8 is a great benefit. The difference between f2.8 and f4 is that the f2.8 lets in twice as much light, meaning twice the shutter speed for the same exposure. An aperture of f2.8 also turns on the high-precision capabilities of the center focus dot, meaning a potential for… -

Re: Lost meta data in LR3?
Exifutils ( www.hugsan.com/EXIFutils ) shows, and edits if you want to, all the exif in an image, including raw images. Not free but well worth. It also is a pretty good reference to what is available in exif info. Here is an example of the kind of stuff it pulls from a Canon raw file. Not everything is decoded but with a… -
Re: Lightbox slow - anyone else or just me?
First, this morning (1/29) as I write this, performance is decent. Not good, not normal, but 2-4 seconds for a large image to come up, and no failures. I will try to do it again if it gets worse.
