Re: Why Macs suck
We have 130 employees in our company, all but a small handful are on Macs. In my department, where I always know the state and health of our Macs, none of them crash unless there's a hardware problem. That's about 20 Macs here. Not a single system crash in over a year. FCP crashes. The system doesn't. And when FCP does… -
Re: Quantaray Flash for Nikon
The local Ritz is going out of business as well. I picked up a Quantaray (by Sunpak) QF30. List price was $130-ish, but I only paid $20 out the door. It is i-ttl, but only works on the shoe, no slave mode. It does a good job of filling the room and works great as a fill flash. It has a +/- 3 power adjustment. For $20, I'm… -
Re: Ritz Camera goes Belly up
I returned a 50 1.8 to a Wolf Camera store back in early Jan, I paid cash for it and they had to issue a check from corporate which I had not yet received as of yesterday so I called them and they said they are running way behind in issuing the checks. Wonder if this announcement has something to do with it? Hopefully I'll… -
Re: Selling photos at the track
Many office/ electronics places had them for $112 to be precise. Canon IP4700. The ones I bought before were high end all in ones, Mp 630's. I bought 4 all up and paid in order of purchase, $157, 130, 100, 120. As for real photo printers, no sure what you mean by that but the prints are fantastic. They are not a 9000… -
Re: Flash recommendation for the Canon 20D
All "EX" flashes work with 20D All Canon "EX" flashes will work with the 20D (you just won't get E-TTL II exposure except with the 580EX) I used a 420EX with the 20D until I got the 580EX and it worked fine. (A $20 Stofen OmniBounce diffuser is a great option for either of them, for much softer, diffused lighting) I'd bet… -
Re: Show us your business Card!
This is probably an out of work graphic designer that spent 4 years of his life in school to be replaced by generic templates on a website, because nobody wants to pay a $130 consulting fee for a $14.95 box of business cards. :D:D When I'm a millionaire, I'll do the above. Right now, I just want my name and number in their… -
Re: banner for new EU law about cookies
I think you should also add a piece of code to change the cookie-message font size. I've used this one: /* First part of the code is to make the cookie message wider */ .sm-eu-cookie-message { line-height: 40px !important; font-size: 130%; } As Italian I had to delete the What and Why? link because we cannot link a third… -
