Re: Subjective WB Question
Here's some non-subjective input based on numbers. In image #1, I put sample points in four places to sample the color values, two on her face, one on the white lettering on the uniform and one on her dark shirt right above the red vneck. I then switched the color sampler for the two points on the face to show me CMYK… -
Re: My new BMW R12RT (was "Talk me out of it")
Finally some twisties... I finally got a chance to put the R12RT through the paces in the Santa Cruz Mtns Monday. Temps were in the high 40's much of the time. Grips and seat heaters were set to low and it was a very comfortable ride. I can't wait for that deadbeat down at Cee Bailey's to send me a beta screen. Definitely… -
Re: SmugMug/Dgrin Pre Shoot 2008 -Ideas?

No Images - Opinion
Interesting point of view Here's a list of tips, advice, rules and just things to know about photography from Eric Kim, a street photographer who also holds photography workshop classes. Here's the full list: 1. Just because someone has an expensive camera doesn't mean that they're a good photographer. 2. Always shoot in… -
Giottos MTL 9371B with MH1000-652 Ballhead first impressions
Hi everyone! Here is my first impressions and a bunch of pics of my new tripod, the Giottos MTL 9371B and Giottos MH 1000-652 Ball Head. I received this set up as a Christmas gift (thank you!), so I haven't had it for too long, nor have I had the chance to get out in the field and try it out. But I have toyed around with… -
Re: >>> LPS#13 Feedback Thread
51 - Annie222 - Waiting for a breeze Beautiful photo, I like the full range of light to dark here and the partial amount of fluff. Very attractive. 52 - LiquidAir - Hatch Feelings of Jurassic Park! Sweet! 53 - DJTHEMAC - Red Rum I wonder what that would look like casting a shadow on the wall? It isn't hitting me for the…
