Myanmar - Kalaw to Inle trek
Thank you everyone for your comments on my previous posts. I'm doing a major update to my site so I'll have a lot more pics to post in the next few months  These photos are from a 3 day, 67 kilometer trek that Aggie and I went on between the city of Kalaw and Inle Lake. This was one of the highlights of the trip. I… -
Re: Retarded Smugmug "Site Actions"
I already wrote, and no one has responded. I do not want the "Catergory deleted" Nor the three below (it's the individuals ALL BELOW THAT) in the Sumter Equestrian Center (Shows) Galleries That need to be deleted. Most important is the option to do this our self which could be quickly integrated. Sumter Equestrian Center… -

Re: >>> DSS Challenge #4 (Photo Filters): Feedback Thread
Feedback for Pages 6 and 7 Entries #51 Sibling Rivalry (Michael Atkins) - This is such a good bear shot! I felt the filter effect chosen actually detracted a bit. This might also have been better as a vertical crop. Brings back fond memories of living in Alaska :) #52 Just Married (jeffreaux2) - Another one I agonized over… -
Re: smugmug down?
One of the easiest ways that I've spotted things like this, is to open up a gallery with a hundred or two pictures in it-- then choose "all thumbs". Consistently shows missing images.I did a page detail, and here is some debug information that might be useful for your tech support... It's a capture of the network… -
Re: Has anybody jumped from DSLR to Fuji X Pro 1?
A proper bag and neoprene camera straps can make a major improvement in comfort. I use an Op/Tech "Dual Harness" to carry two bodies with lenses. It uses the 3/8" Op/Tech connection standard, so I also use an Op/Tech "Pro Strap, 3/8" for a single camera application. The Dual Harness can also carry just one body, but the… -
Re: 7D as a wedding camera?
True. Only time my 20 Failed was when I wore out another shutter. Think it's up to its 3rd one atm. That said, I would never and have never been to a wedding with only one camera. In fact I don't think I have ever done a wedding without 3 camera's coming with me. I remember one job years ago that one of my medium formats… -
Re: 15 Keywords Limit is a Problem
I know it seems odd. But here's the philosophy using a photo of a ferry boat filled with people leaving the dock at Fisherman's Wharf headed to Alcatraz with the American flag flying in the breeze: 1. We are in the travel business. We use keywords for photo purposes, editorial purposes, marketing, and advertising purposes.… -

Re: An Ongoing Journey through Africa & The Middle East [PIC HEAVY!]
Thank you everyone for coming along with the journey. It's been a really enjoyable one that has definitely opened my eyes up to Africa! I really appreciated all the excellent replies! Mirounga horribillis - Is that a Elephant Seal Bear? So this is it, this is my last post of Africa (for now). Although I do still have about…
