Stat Reporting
Good evening, I'm a bit confused on the "Stats" that are reported on SmugMug. A couple months ago I remember reading a blog post about how everyone was excited that Stats were getting upgraded and were gunna be a lot more useful. Tonight I decided to try to see whether or not posting my photos to a couple of websites… -
Re: Jigsaw Puzzle Project - environmental portraits
Cuong – Thank you. Susan – Thanks so much, glad you’ve enjoyed it. I’m not sure what I’ll do next, but after processing all these color images, I might have to switch back to black & white for a while. Also I think it’s important for me to keep using and building upon what I learned, so it doesn’t all leak out, you know?… -
Re: Justi's Abrasive LPS Critique thread
#28 Hamster- After hours Theme: Looks sinful to me. Aesthetics: There is a lot I dig about this. The red cast is a good choice. The DOF keeps you wondering about the contents of that screen. The wedding ring, classic. This is a good shot. But for god's sake man, isn't it time to upgrade that Mac? #29 Sherstone- Reverend… -
Re: First Attempt At Pin-Up - PG Rated
OK... Bryce emailed two shots to me so I can take a crack at processing them. I worked on one today after I got home from work. I'm hoping I can walk you guys through my processing steps without being too confusing. I'm not great at this tutorial thing so bear with me please. OK... so before I jump into the the steps, I… -
Re: China October 2011
Following the shopping area it was time to go look at a silk shop. We were on a tour and this is one of the prices you pay for traveling with a tour group. However we were interested in looking for another silk comforter cover and were interested in what the shop might offer. The visit began with the usual “how silk is… -
Re: Public Beta: Lightroom plugin 1.0.4.x
Sample Debug log Here is a debug log. Looks like the timeout is 5 minutes? With 5 retries? The connection I am using is in a scandalous state (broadband at dial-up speeds!). I think these would work properly if they had longer timeouts. Differentiation between a slow connection, and one that has stopped altogether (i.e. a… -
Re: >>> DSS Challenge #5 (Primary or Pastel): Feedback Thread
Page 4 31 - jrnylst - Blue Lakes Basin - This one definitely makes my favorites list, but then again I'm a total sucker for the high country. A very pretty landscape on its own but also evokes the particular theme wonderfully. Yep, another flower shot, but I think this one rises to near the top. Excellent! 32 - Manfr3d -… -

Re: Is a $1000 monitor really worth it
Its supposed to be pretty good, but its the budget version of the u2410. Either way, these monitors are known for splotchy color hues. Mine is OK, but it took 3 RMA's to hit a satisfactory model. The specs and interface options are amazing, so if you do go for one, as long as the color is decent, its a great monitor. Also…
