You can't go wrong with either system, but lens for lens, Canons are usually less expensive for the same quality. Also Canon's lens lineup has more selection from the standard range on up. Like 4 different 70-200s, a 100-400, and a 17-55/2.8 with IS. Nikkor has more selection in the super-wide zoom range. -
