Yup, 60% of the calories from mushrooms are from protein. Broccoli is 33% protein, kidney beans are 25% protein, kale is 25% protein. A porterhouse steak is only 30% protein. Generally, I see bodybuilder types claim they need 25% or more of their calories to come from protein. They could just as well eat mushrooms to that… -
