Re: Upcoming Lightbox Changes
One more. If I select an X3 on my 1920 x 1200 monitor in full-screen mode (F11) I get a vertical scroll bar in both Firefox and Chrome. Under Firefox I get a pixel or two of vertical scrolling. Under Chrome I get the bar but nothing to scroll. The X3 is 1200px high as is the screen, so I'd expect no scroll bar and no… -
Re: Upcoming Lightbox Changes
You've got some caption alignment problems on smaller windows. Observe how the caption overlaps the action button area and is partially covered by the BUY button. This behavior changes depending on the window width. 1920 x 1200 monitor. The window, with borders, is just 974px wide. This is a full size capture. Firefox 62… -
Re: Upcoming Lightbox Changes
Nope, just an ancient Hewlett Packard LP2475w, but I am running Windows 7 with 125% display scaling. To balance, I typically run Firefox at 80% zoom. That's what it takes to render images on the screen at the same size you send. So, for example, in the old lightbox, the X2 came out just as expected when I used the… -
Re: Upcoming Lightbox Changes
OK, I took a look at the new lightbox and the new CSS. Looks like I'll be able to get rid of some of my customizations. You've made them standard. Nice. But there's a bug or two involving scroll bars ... In the organizer lightbox view, try selecting a display copy size larger than the monitor so that the horizontal scroll… -
Re: Upcoming Lightbox Changes
I REALLY don't like that. In a Dgrin post last year, I noted the sharpness of the display copies may differ from the full screen size version, depending on the algorithm used by the browser for the degree of expansion involved. See also this 2015 Dgrin post; it's not just me. Perhaps the worst example I know of today is in… -
Re: Upcoming Lightbox Changes
Let me share one of my problem images with you. I have local CSS up to apply the image rendering changes to the old lightbox. This image is one where I had to turn it off. Here is the bottom half of that image in the old lightbox (with image-rendering:auto; which is the default of nothing special) at default "fill" sizing.… -
Re: Upcoming Lightbox Changes
In the last few days, I've continued to explore sharpness differences in the new and old versions of the lightbox and with crisp and auto (default) image rendering. All is on Win 7 with 125% scaling, Firefox 63 with 80% scaling (so images come out "right"), 1920 x 1200 monitor. I've also looked at the X2 display copies…
