    Nice work. I haven't shot pole vault in a few years. Fun sport. Did you have a platform or something similar to stand on for these?

    I think I'd like to see more context. You're probably not going to get a "sportrait" from pole vault, so let's see the height!

    no platform, I was just shooting near the players starting off towards the raised bar (about 3 - 4 meters high)

    I haven't been thru all the pics but don't think I have a wider shot showing "context", have to get that next time!

    Nice job nailing the focus. How did you do it? Servo mode, or prefocused on the bar?

    I use AI Servo but these were easy compared to BIF shots or field sports like soccer
