Tutorials

Ever find yourself wondering just how someone managed to create an image using different effects?

Here are three simple tutorials we hope will encourage you to try something new.

The Hot Seat

A lifelong interest in landscape photography has led Eyal Oren to make a study of his adopted hometown of Marblehead, MA. As you can see, his dedication is paying off!

Africa!

Dgrinners Harryb, Pathfinder, and others joined Andy Williams and Marc Muench on Safari in East Africa recently. Here are some awesome threads to check out!

HUGE THANKS to David Rosenthal for his service to Dgrin!
David Rosenthal is stepping down as "Editor-in-Chief" of Dgrin - he's been for years the "guy behind the curtain" that makes so much happen here at Dgrin. We're grateful for his service, and we don't exactly know how we'll fill his gigantic shoes! In the meantime, I'm going to step back in and try my best.

David, you've been an awesome friend to the community, giving selflessly to everyone here at Dgrin and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts

Thanks, Andy. I really have appreciated the experience. It's been fantastic, and I've learned a ton. I'm glad that I'll be able to put more attention now to other areas of my life. I'm not going anywhere, just offloading some responsibility.

Does this mean you are going to spend more time with the Muench Workshops (along with Andy - I assume he is going to be a lot more active with Marc as well)?

The time I spend on Muench Workshops is directly proportional to how much time they spend on it. The more they do, the more I have to do. But the real point is that I've become busier with my new job, and I plan on allowing myself more time for the simple things like reading and enjoying time with my wife.
