    I love the light on the moon from those mornings when the sun is still below the horizon, but rising fast to chase the moon from our view. Great capture! thumb.gifthumb

    Sara is correct--it's a cemetery, not graffiti, though I can see how one could get the wrong idea. Here's a 100% crop:

    As Taz pointed out, it is grainy. I imagine that's partly due to the distance (it was more than a kilometer away) but mainly because I underexposed it a bit to avoid blowing out the moon detail. I had to push the shadows quite a bit in post.

    Grainy?... Actually I'm surprised you got such good detail in the moon.

    It has color as a result of atmospheric interference (particulate, dew, smog, etc)

    The interference reduces as the moon rises
