I love the light on the moon from those mornings when the sun is still below the horizon, but rising fast to chase the moon from our view. Great capture! thumb

I don't know where I'm going, but I'm going anyway.
Really nice shot, Richard.
I especially like the light poles!

Nice capture, Richard - I like the honesty of the shot. And... what graffiti? I see a cemetary in the foreground. Or is graffiti a technical photography term that I don't know? Cheers, Sara

Sara is correct--it's a cemetery, not graffiti, though I can see how one could get the wrong idea. Here's a 100% crop:
As Taz pointed out, it is grainy. I imagine that's partly due to the distance (it was more than a kilometer away) but mainly because I underexposed it a bit to avoid blowing out the moon detail. I had to push the shadows quite a bit in post.

The graffiti gives the image a paisley accent...

Ha! You're learning, Wayne

Grainy?... Actually I'm surprised you got such good detail in the moon.
It has color as a result of atmospheric interference (particulate, dew, smog, etc)
The interference reduces as the moon rises
