    I love cemetary shots and this is a nice one. Good composition, interesting inscriptions on the tombstones. Nice color, sharpness and tonal range.

    Phil,

    Very nice picture with a great deal of emotional content - question: the Colonel whose gravestone is in the foreground, did he serve in WWII, Korea AND Vietnam? Now THAT'S an American Hero.

    I must honestly say that I don't know for sure but I have to assume that's the meaning. As I looked around at different markers, some had the list and some didn't. I figured it was the short summary of their service records. The Colonel here was obviously a lifer. Whether you support the actions of the military or not, you have to respect the individuals with the dedication to the service. It's a difficult life and one that I know isn't for me.
