I was walking back from taking some photos of deer that like the soybeans near the house. Seeing the moon rise like this, I just had to open up the tripod legs once more.

    My only nit are some patches around the moon that I will assume was something you did in post-processing....?

    I agree.....a beautiful photo.

    I checked out your Deer photos. I'm in a field of beans growing where I take my Eagle photos...there are Deer all over there, but I haven't been as lucky as you to catch a photo of them.

    Yeah, I noticed that after I posted it. There were a couple of dust spots I had to clone out in the sky and I tweaked just the moon ever so slightly, but did nothing in that area around the moon. headscratch.gif

    The moonshot is really cool. I love it. The purple color of the sky really stands out... awesome job...
