I'm still practising with my so-called studio. :rolleyes

I would like to frame couple of shots and give it to my sister.

great shots. I'd like #1 even better if the background could go all white.

Very cute little girl and a nice set of photos.

I like the way the background in #1 goes to gray. I just wish you had positioned you model a couple of feet further from the background to avoid the shadow from the flash showing.

Thank you Scott, agreed with what you said. I think my problem was not positioning of her, but rather placement of the light.
    Thank you.

Lovely girl Marina. I like 2 and 3 the best. They appear a lot sharper on my computer. The lighting is wonderful. Next time you get the chance (and if you have room), move the subject about 8 ' from the background to remove the shadows and throw it a little more out of focus.

I agree the light could have been better positioned (a little higher maybe).

Keeping the light where it is, but moving your model further from the background would have caused the shadow to fall further to the right and outside the frame of the image.

If the light had been a bit higher, the shadow would have fallen lower in the frame but still in the frame.

Thank you Travis, yep, i'm learning my mistakes as i go. My drop wasn't long enough to move her farther away, i'm aware of the result Laughing.gif, so i thought light could've been placed better than it was.

    Thank you again!

Thanks again Scott, i tend to put my light evenly with the eyes of my subject, but now i know it's a mistake. I've done couple of shots with lights high and they came out quiet nice. Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm in the process to purchase a hair light and softbox. :D
So 2 more lights should be all i need.

For some reason I'm really really drawn to the third image... I really like the shadows and the contrast of her perfect skin with the bg. my only nit pick is her left hand, it would have been PERFECT if it was down.. But in reality with a two year old I'm not sure you could have gotten anymore perfect! Adorable not-so-little girl!

Thank you so much for your comments, she was pretty good at posing here, because she was sitting high and didn't have much chances to move, i think she might have been somewhat scared? I'm just guessing, but she didn't show it. Yes, 2 y.o. can be wiggly worms Laughing.gif. You've got to really keep their attention.

    Thanks again!
