This was shot at Como Zoo in MN. The Buffalo has a soar on his leg :cry

Which crop do you like better? Or maybe you don't like either one. They look a little different after posting them here ... the actual shot doesn't have the fading on the bottom right or on the left of his face. Not sure why it's showing up here ... ?

I've added a "bird" (Canadian Goose) to see if I at least get one reply. I'm starting to feel "neglected" :cry

Yes I like the first shot too. I also like the old Canada Goose poking its nose in. Great shots and love them all.

I'm only new to taking photos, but I've always appreciated pictures of non-domestic animals, and these are no exception. I prefer the first one too, but I also think it needs more room.

The goose looks good too. But again, IMHO it needs a little more room, so you get to see the whole beak.

First shot with more room. It looks like it is nursing a wound. ne_nau.gif And Allan is correct about the Canada Goose. If you include the whole beak I think it would look better.

    Canadians are people from Canada.

I made the same mistake for many years too.

I like the Canada Goose...in your face...up close and personal! :D

Thank you for the reply :D The first one is the full shot, so I can't give him anymore room than that. It was just one of those shots that worked ... but had a few issues. I was just wondering if either of these worked for anyone else but me.

Thank you for the reply. The first shot is all the room he has unfortunatly.

The Goose was a "joke" .... because everyone was talking about all of the birds in the wild animals. I have a full crop of him along with many others ... I will post some later.

Thank you for the reply! In my little story before the pictures I stated that he had a wound. That was another reason I thought the second crop might work. He looks like he's in a mood .. and I guess I was trying to capture that. The crop of the Goose was on purpose for this post ... as a joke. I have the full shot and will post in another thread later.

Thanks again for looking and commenting!

Thank you for the correction on Canadians!! I never knew that. America have American's ... but we also say, "American Eagle". I just assumed it would be the same with Canada and Canadian. That will be hard to get used to!

I kind of liked the crop of the Goose too :)
