LR catastrophe can anyone help?

I have recently put in some new hard drives and I started to just move my existing folders to the new hard drives all through light room, after moving about 500 Gig of photos I noticed that they would look very bad after I opened the file. Well it turns out all my photos that I edited in Raw (that had a jpg sidecar ) used the jpg for the photos after moving the folders and applied the setting that were for the Raw version of the photo to the jpg. Could some one please tell me how to get light room to read the Raw files again instead of the jpg's. I tried to synchronize a folder but that would not work.

I am running LR 1.4.1 on a Mac with osx 10.4.11 any and all help is needed at this time a lot of these photos are client photos.
