the exposures look pretty good, would have liked more of a front angle on the slides. the headless canter shots from the front dont do much for me.

The arena where these shows take place is insanely hard to get photos out of. The one spot with a solid background is no where near any of the slide locations. The show pen is quite built up so standing on the rail is really difficult to get pictures, ( especially slides) especially with the long lens. I would love to have some front slide shots just to be different, but unless I hire a second shooter it's just impossible as long as I am shooting in this arena. I don't want you to think that I am making excuses, mearly trying to explain the reason for the angles!
The headless canter shots are actually a very frequent request that I have! People love how their horse looks, but they often have funny looks on their face, I hear " I'd buy it if you could get rid of my face" quite often, so when they see these shots, the gobble them right up!!!:D
