Nekromir: The Captive.
Again, I found a spot of empty space in my day, I filled it with experimental shots. I only chose three from the whole shoot. Please tell me if it was worth the time spent. (Shots with edits: About 1.5 hours). C&C very welcomed.

Side note: ever considered plucking the eyebrows in the middle? (sorry, the girlie girl in me just got out and typed that)
I really enjoyed these! Way to take free time and turn it into creative time!

Thanks for commenting, Heather. You're quite right about The off focal point, I really tried but as you said its very hard when you're self shooting.
But I didn't get what you meant by plucking the eyebrows? You want me to digitally comb them?

Shatch, here's the original pic. The setup was simply a spot with nothing covering it. For the post, I converted to grayscale based on the Red channel, then applied overall curves and levels, then added a black layer set to multiply 80% opacity and masked it with different shades to show only the areas of interest and the final step was selective sharpening using High-Passed layers set to Overlay/Soft Light.
I hope that answers well

Pluck prior, or post process those things out. The only one it is really bad on is the last, (because the focus point is right on them) but that is not the best shot, and doesn't really merrit the time to go through the work of it.
(But truth be told, it is probably just me and my own personal need for eyebrow perfection. Nobody else has to subscribe. )
Great shots, I enjoyed them all, but agree that #2 is my favorite. It's a striking difference in black and white, too- Thanks!
Yes, sometimes you need B&W to bring out the spirit. Thanks for commenting
