I am not very photogenic, I guess thats why I stay on the other side of the lens. I am not keen on the background but it was a quick snapshot so hey what the heck!

I might play with it a little more so you can see my right eye a bit more, but overall I like it. CC welcome.

    I'd add a touch ( or a heck of lot) of sharpening to your chin and lip area. IMHO: this would add to the contrast you have already built in the image.
