What do you call them? number 1 is the strongest in my view... The emotional reaction I had when I saw them was "ewww, creepy" The colors being predominantly cold make me think of death...

    You need a good title...

Fantastic idea. I like one and three. One is great by itself but would like a little more light on three.

How about for a title the color of cold?

    peace always, g

I like #2 because I can tell more what's going on. And I love her bracelet. :D I'm curious what it would look like with a little cropped from the top and a sliver off the right.

Great shots Nik, as is I like # 2 the most, but maybe I would like #1 even more if it had heavy top and left crop.
    Best regards,

Hmm I guess I'm a little more juvenile :D my emotional reaction was "BOOBIES!!!"

I think #1 is interesting, but those colors are a bit intense

Maybe reshoot #3 with the same amt of red on her right as green on left. Actually it looks pink but ne_nau.gif

Right now I would say #2 w/o the sparkle on her neck.

I played with it, and I agree, a tighter crop works better. I'll upload a new version as soon as SM comes to its senses, right now it's barely out of Sunday S3 coma:-)

Reshooting *her* is out of question. deal.gif I can't ask her to drive a hundred+ miles again just to get another take, can I? mwink.gif
I may have another go with somebody else next weekend, though. Try to be more accurate with the lights levels/angles (I kinda was in a hurry this time). Maybe pick different colors, too...headscratch.gif

Noted. Sparkle's gone, I agree it was a distracttion. Upload as soon as SM lets me...

Thanks, Sean, great to hear from you! thumb.gif
I know #3 has some potential (I wound't took/post it otherwise), but if nothing else it needs to be 100% symmetrical, and I know for sure I didn't place my lights the way I should have, neither I tuned them up to the exact level (they are prolly about half a stop off). I also think the pose needs to be different, prolly 100% yoga. Hopefully will be able to retake next weekend.

Kerry, Virginia, Douglas: thank you for your feedback!

Now on this image I had 4 different types of filters:
    1. colored gels (mostly green, but you can see the hints of red on the bracelet)
    2. 40 degree grid (does it count? mwink.gif )
    3. B+W NDx10 to turn NC-17 into PG-13
    4. green overlay layer to adjust a patch of red on her thigh and match it to the overall green palette

Subtle isn't a good idea. I was too subtle last time and most people "wtf?" on my pic. I had to explain it... and that's where I disconnected. I'm playing around with my model shoot pics, looking for something intersting... I'm using a download of PS, wish me luck!

Luck to you too. I like the first one, btw. But the close up of the belly and the bracelet you posted in the thread is very nice. Just give it a little crop at the bottom... getting a little too close to some... mother nature in that one.
