Ugh, that wet-dog smell

My girlfriend and I took her dog (Sadie) down to the beach yesterday. We had thought that Sadie was a defunct lab in the sense that she didn't like the water or swimming :huh . We were determined to get her in the water and holding her own. For about 1.5 hours, I was in the water with Sadie leading her a little deaper each time. It was really fun(ny) because she'd follow me in and then get plowed by the next wave. A retreat started to occur but she got a little more brave each time and followed me in further. Once we got deep enough to where she couldn't touch bottom, she wouldn't leave more than 3 feet between us.
Sadie started to enjoy the water more and more so I got her the water toy I had purchased a day earlier. About 30 minutes of that, I realized that my camera was still in the car.
With the help of a beautiful day at the beach
I came back with my camera to a very happy Yellow Lab:
And the water dog finally started to like the water:
C&C welcome.

Our dog's teeth are so sharp his wubba got torn to pieces in less than a week, but that's longer than a lot of his toys lasted. He's a black hole for money, just eats it all.
Very pretty beach pictures, the last one of the dog shows a little pride. Nice clean colours and a wonderful wash of blue.

I think the Wubba is going to remain a "water-only" toy because Sadie does the same thing and eats all of her toys. The black Kong toys seem to last the longest though.

Black Jack had the black one for about two minutes when I heard ripping. It's exhausting.
Can't someone make a dog teeth proof dog toy??
