File names for copyright photos

Hi!

I am getting ready to register the copyright to my photos- I am not sure how to label them.
Should I use the name of the subject, such as "farm.jpg"?

Or should I number them sequentially, with my initials and a number, such as "JD1.jpg" "JD2.jpg" etc.

Or is it better to leave the original file name such as "dfc10023.jpg"?

How do you all label your files for registration?

here's my system:

I use an alphanumeric code starting with the date

20090222

then my initials

20090222_ajp

then a general topic

20090222_ajp_hollywood

then add additional sub-topics as needed

20090222_ajp_hollywood_street_OscarAwards

20090222_ajp_hollywood_street_OscarAwards_SeanPenn


starting with the date in that sequence makes for very easy indexing
