Parts Canada Superbike Race at Mosport

Hi all! I thought my first post would be shots taken at Mosport in Bowmanville, Ontario from the Parts Canada Superbike races that were held on July 18-20.

C&C welcome - first time for me using some bigger glass, so i know the photographer could have be a little steadier at some points. Overall I am pretty happy with the results! I did not have press creditials so I made the best of what i had!

This picture was shot with a Nikon d300 & 300 2.8 w\ 1.4x tele. Aside from signature in corner - no processing done. The rest are cropped 8x10 with sig.

    Some nice shots with my fav being the tight crop of Jordan Szoke.

    i'm still working through my images from Mosport (and still drying out).

    I agree. But the shot I like is #1.

    I like #1 also. Haven't recently seen shot of a group of riders.
    This might be better with more DOF to get most of them in sharp focus. Just MO.

    Thanks for the comments!

    Steve - I will work on that idea next time. I only saw them in this straight of a formation the one time. I tried a couple other times to get more DOF and while some where in focus, some others where slightly blurred and it was distracting, so i decided to stick to this method!

    Neil - I know what you mean about drying out! If you were in Moss Corner saturday afternoon - i feel for you! That rain was unreal! I look forward to seeing your pics.
