The canoe picture is one of my favourites since it's where I like to get away from it all. Wish I was there now . . . !
For sure geospatial; I hope to do that next time I go there. Would be a nice way to test my new camera, should I decide to get one . . .

Very nice what you did. That certainly is dramatic. I've never tried mixing color with black and white, but now I see I should . . .
As for working with someone's photos; I believe that when someone asks for opinions and advice they're giving some license to others trying different techniques on their images. It's the best way to learn. Maybe others can chime in here, but for myself, I appreciate it when someone takes the time to show me how I can improve my images and then gives examples : (a picture is worth a thousand words)
