ID Please

I think they are ducks but they did not go into the water. When the quake it sounds like they are laughing. Found them on the north end of Lake Apopka on an EPA Super Fund Site. It’s a bunch of ponds set up to clean up the water of the lake. Thanks MM

    I spend a lot of time out side but can not remember seeing these before? The Ducks where hanging out in some very tall grass on the edge of these retention ponds, while trying to get closer to them I found a nest in the grass with eggs. I am thinking about going back and maybe getting a chance to see some chicks. Are they common to Florida? Thanks again. MM
